The Star Spangled Banner

Emmaline learned The Star Spangled Banner this past few weeks for Independence Day. Its a hard song to learn and she did such a good job.

We want to dedicate it to her daddy, over in Korea, for all the sacrifices he's made for his country. We appreciate everything he's done for us and are so proud of him!

Happy Independence Day!

A few random pictures

I dislike how hard it is to move pictures around in Blogger- and the fact that it puts my pictures in the opposite order I selected them. I have no desire to rearrange everything so its all out of chronological order. I'm sorry! Miss Lottie- 6 weeks and already a head-holding champ! Emmaline and Lottie Emmaline is 'feeding' her babydoll before she puts her down to bed...
Our washing machine stopped working 2 weeks before Lottie was born. Repair guys came three times to fix it before finally accomplishing the task. The final problem was replugging it in. Matthew was here when it was installed and he managed to squeeze his tiny butt between the wall and the washing machine. Both the repair guys were easily 4 times Matt's size. So my dad became a hero, climed above the washing machine and plugged it in. Definately a funny sight.
Valerie is one of my best friends- an amazing woman who is always willing to help anyone who needs it. I was very sad that they moved to Kentucky only a week after Matt left. Emmaline and Whitney were really good friends as well so it made it even more fun to visit them and even worse for them to leave!
Emmaline, Lottie, Molly dolly and baby. Can you tell which one isn't the doll? Lol.
This is the only picture I managed to get at the airport when Matt came home. Because of a change in the flight arrival time and going to the wrong pick up location I only managed to waddle to meet him just as he was walking into the hallway. All hopes of getting a good video of Emmaline run to her daddy were impossible to achieve this time. But theres always next time...and the next.
